Long time no update - here is one. After a few month of patience i finally migrated the web and mailserver from our local linux user group to my server. Through this movement & migration i've been also able to setup ipv6 support and fix the old mailman archive.Linux User Group Traunstein/Salzburg

If everything went well, i will be for a couple of days in the capital city of austria over the holidays. It's just around 3 hours of driving one way on the A1 highway which starts right after the A8 ends close to Salzburg.

Right now i'm pretty happy with it as it's a big advantage to have the hands free while driving and be able to dial people through the radio itself. Unfortunately i'ma bit picky about the voice-quality so i'm still undecided where i will place the microphone in my car.

I'm doing in 2010 for fun the final examination for the Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration in munich. It costs less than 100EUR for external attendees at the IHK Munich. For the ones who are interested why i did it for fun - here comes the answer. After more than 10 years of experience in this business, i just want to see how challenging such a test could be.

I just applied for a passport to travel outside of the EU. They took fingerprints and my size as well as the color of my eyes. Processing time is around 4 weeks.

If all went well, i will be with 2 friends of mine for 2 weeks on January 2010 in San Francisco. I will take for sure a lot of pictures and try to get as much expressions from america as i can get. Usually we will fly with Lufthansa and depart from munic.
