I spend many many hours to fix this issue while i was trying to integrate a windows
xp professional client into my windows server 2003 active-directory. Reason for the
error message above was, that for unknown reasons, not all rpc related services were
started correctly on my windows server. After starting them manually, everything
works as expected.Update: 30.07.2010 - The windows firewall was also dropping the required packages to complete the login. After temporarily disabling the firewall, login was possible. This is really a pain in the ass when windows is blocking it's own services by default!
